Quantum NXT-R : Advancing Heating Technology

The Quantum NXT Recirculation DI Water Heater, Trebor’s latest breakthrough in heating technology, sets a new efficiency and reliability standard. Ideal for high-purity processes requiring continuous hot DIW flows with precise temperature control, Quantum NXT-R conserves energy and water, stabilizing temperatures in variable flow rate applications with buffer tanks and closed-loop pressure vessels. Our heaters’ fast response times and maglev pumps enhance energy efficiency and product quality while reducing resource consumption.

  • Increased temperature flexibility and energy efficiency when compared with central loop heating systems
  • System can be used in place of central loops or supplement existing loop systems

SIZING CALCULATOR

To determine which heater size is needed, calculate the required kilowatt with the following formula:

Required kW = 0.264 * (Flow in GPM) * (Temperature Delta in °C)

Example

Ambient Water Temperature = 25° C

Desired Process Temperature = 70° C

Temperature Delta = 45° C

Required kW = 0.264 * (4 GPM) * (45° C) = 47.5kW

For optimal temperature response and compensation for seasonal changes in ambient water temperature, we recommend adding 20% excess heating capacity.

47.5kW * (1.2) = 57kW

The best option for this application is a 60 kW heater.
